It’s often said that there’s more to a person than meets the eye, and that couldn’t be truer for Mosunmola Orioye. While many know her for her impeccable style and captivating online presence, her story is one of resilience, faith, and an unshakable commitment to empowering women to live their best lives.
Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, I grew up as the only girl among four
siblings. My childhood was steeped in Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage, yet I
often feel like I didn’t embrace it enough. Even so, my upbringing shaped me
into a woman who values family, faith, and perseverance.
Life took a sharp turn in 2020 with the tragic loss of my father, a moment that
tested my strength and marked the beginning of my journey toward independence.
Despite the challenges, I worked hard to finish my education and build a career,
fueled by a belief that God’s grace would always light my path.
I’ve been with my husband, Deji—who I affectionately call Dee—for 14 years, and
we’ve been married for 11 of those. While no marriage is perfect, sharing this
life with him has been nothing short of a blessing. Together, we’re raising
three beautiful children: a 10-year-old daughter, a 9-year-old son, and our
5-year-old bundle of joy.
Our home is filled with love, laughter, and the occasional dream. For example,
my daughter has promised that one day, she’ll invite Brandy (yes, the Brandy!)
to visit us at home. I believe her—because in this family, we dream big and
believe even bigger.
Entrepreneurship has been both a calling and a journey. From real estate
investing and business acquisitions to technology and my budding interest in
healthcare, I wear many hats. Each venture reflects my commitment to building
something meaningful—not just for myself, but for the people I hope to inspire.
At the heart of everything I do is a deep passion for empowering women. I’ve
seen how easy it is for us to get lost in the demands of motherhood, career, and
life, often sidelining our dreams and passions. That’s why I’m dedicated to
creating content that resonates with women, especially those in their 30s and
40s who are navigating the complexities of life while still holding onto their
aspirations.
I’m not just here to share tips on style or highlight business ventures—though I
do love those topics! My platform is about more than aesthetics; it’s about
substance. It’s about helping women find the courage to start over, pursue their
passions, and live with intention.
Through my journey from Lagos to the USA, my transition into various industries,
and my commitment to family, I’ve learned that life isn’t about perfection—it’s
about perseverance, faith, and gratitude.
So whether you’re here for fashion inspiration, business tips, or a dose of
motivation, my hope is that my story reminds you that your journey is valid,
your dreams are achievable, and you are capable of creating a life you love.
If you’ve made it this far, thank you for letting me share my heart with you.
I’d love to hear about your own journey, dreams, and passions. Together, let’s
inspire each other to reach new heights and create lives full of grace, style,
and purpose.
With love,
